Introducing Hakka Museum

The museum occupies 1,935 square meters, with a building area of 1,116 square meters and a diameter of 39 meters. The museum's name was inscribed by Gao Yunjia, Vice Chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. The museum borrows the design features of the walled house (the "Yuanyuan" in the original), a treasure of Hakka architectural art.

The Hakka Museum features two-story galleries along its walls, serving as exhibition halls. An ancient opera stage stands to the north. Lanterns adorning the first-floor exhibition area create a vibrant atmosphere of Hakka culture and festivity. The museum is typically used for various themed exhibitions. During the World Hakka Expo, the museum is a prime venue for private collections, showcasing ancient coins, books, antiques, antiques, calligraphy and paintings, and other cultural relics. A dazzling array of items, richly steeped in the Hakka heritage of southern Jiangxi, are on display.

"A small place can be a home, a country, or the world; these characters can be both civil and military, and even sages." This couplet, written by Tang Dynasty poet Li Qunyu, is now engraved on both sides of the stage, imitating a retro charm. Here, you can enjoy the distinctive local tea-picking opera and Donghe opera.

The second-floor exhibition, themed "Cradle of the Hakka People," showcases Hakka household utensils, clothing, education, folk crafts, cuisine, ancient Hakka architecture, scenic spots, and other artifacts, models, images, and texts, comprehensively showcasing the Hakka people's glorious past and their continued progress today. The museum also features video projection equipment, inviting visitors to pause and appreciate the authentic Hakka culture and customs.
