The City Museum was founded in 1984, following the reform and opening-up policy. Through a variety of channels, including public collection, individual donations, confiscation, donations from cultural relic shops, and archaeological excavations, the museum has rapidly expanded its collection year by year, currently boasting over 3,500 items and over 10,000 specimens. The museum adheres to the State Council's documents on cultural relic protection and collaborates with the industrial and commercial administration, public security, and other departments to crack down on cultural relic smuggling and tomb robbery, achieving significant results.
