Located in the Yancun Scenic Area of Wuyuan County, the Hall of Hundred Longevity Flowers was originally the guesthouse of Chengzhi Hall, built during the Jiaqing reign. It's so called because ninety-six characters for "longevity" are carved in different scripts between its ten doors. Together with one on the horizontal panel of the central door and two on the windows of the inner wing rooms, the entire building, viewed from above, resembles a "longevity" character, forming a beautiful "Hundred Longevity Picture."
The county is located in the mid-subtropics and has the characteristics of the East Asian monsoon zone. It has a mild climate, abundant rainfall, a short frost period, and distinct four seasons.
