Introducing Xiyuan

Jiangxi Xiyuan is located on Tangcun Street in Ziyang Town, Wuyuan County, on the banks of the Xingjiang River, facing the water and nestled against the mountain, shaded by ancient trees. Originally known as "Zhujiazhuang," this area was the residence of Zhu Xi's second and third generation ancestors. Invested and developed by Wuyuan Zhuzi Industrial Co., Ltd., the scenic area officially opened on November 27, 2013.

As a "National Cultural Industry Demonstration Base" and a "National Intangible Cultural Heritage Productive Protection Demonstration Base", Xiyuan's cultural creation includes displays of lectures by ancient sages, a sound and light graphic performance of the tomb of Zhu Xi's ancestors, and a re-enactment of the "Inkstone Official Supervising the Inkstone at Longwei Mountain". It also features the intangible cultural heritage of "She Inkstone" production and a display of fine She Inkstone products.
