Shennongyuan Scenic Area is located at the foot of Huangtian Peak in the northeastern part of Wannian County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, within Dayuan Town. Bordering Leping to the north and Yiyang to the east, it serves as the eastern gateway to Wannian County. It covers an area of ​​approximately 43.46 square kilometers.

Shennongyuan Scenic Area is a landscape-type scenic area featuring the world's earliest birthplace of rice-growing culture and karst cave landscape, with landscape culture as its connotation and sightseeing, scientific research, leisure and vacation, and cultural popularization as its main functions.

The "Xianren Cave-Diaotonghuan Ruins" in the scenic area is a national key cultural relic protection unit in the fifth batch. On October 31, 2012, Shennongyuan Scenic Area was included in the list of the eighth batch of national scenic spots [2]. In 2014, it was rated as an AAAA-level tourist attraction by the National Tourism Administration.
