Zhuangyuanzhou Park is located east of Yichun city, in the center of Xiujiang River, downstream from the Yichun Bridge. The island is approximately 800 meters long from east to west and 200 meters wide from north to south, 100 meters from the riverbank on both sides. It covers an area of 83 mu (approximately 16 acres). On the island, "mountains merge into a lush landscape, and the waterside city is surrounded by tranquility."
Liu Changfa, a successful candidate in a juren (imperial examination) in Yichun during the Qing Dynasty, composed a poem: "A wisp of cold smoke occupies the azure stream; a wild monk crosses the river in a small boat under the moonlight. No wonder there are no immortal islands on earth; for I see Penglai!" In the poem, the poet clearly compares Zhuangyuanzhou to Penglai Island. On quiet and peaceful nights, while boating on the river, the bright moon's reflection is clear and beautiful, hence the name "Luzhou Mooring the Moon." It is one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Yichun.
Zhuangyuanzhou has beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural heritage. It fully explores and utilizes the "Zhuangyuan Reading" culture and the "Luzhou Mooring the Moon" landscape, and combines modern technology venues and fitness and leisure areas to turn the reading place of ancient sages into a large classroom for expanding the quality of modern teenagers.

Zhuangyuanzhou Water Park features rockeries, ponds, pavilions, archways, a swimming pool, and recreational facilities. The restoration of the library and pavilions further enhances the park's unique character.
