Yuanshan Park is located in the urban area of Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. Named after Big and Small Yuanshan Mountains, it covers a total area of nearly 100 hectares, including nearly 40 hectares of forest and approximately 15 hectares of water. The park's planning and construction adheres to the overarching principle of highlighting its natural ecological features, reflecting its historical and cultural heritage, and catering to the leisure and entertainment needs of people at all levels. The goal is to create a comprehensive urban center park with beautiful natural scenery, high cultural standards, and unique characteristics.
Since the construction of the park started on August 29, 2001, it has received high attention from the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, strong support and assistance from the people's governments of ten counties and cities, and extensive participation from various municipal units, enabling the smooth progress of various construction projects.
The subtropical monsoon climate makes it suitable for travel in all four seasons.
Yuanshan Park has set up natural ecological scenic spots such as the Hundred Flowers Garden, Rare Plant Garden, Aquatic Plant Garden, Zoo, Bird Singing Forest, Sightseeing Orchard, Sanskrit Waterfall, Flower Terrace and Cascading Water; it has set up historical and cultural landscape areas such as Lansheng Pavilion, Wenlan Pavilion, Qingfeng Pavilion, Songfeng Pavilion, History Square, Celebrity Thatched Cottage, Guitianyuan Residence, as well as Stele Forest and Stone Carvings; it has set up leisure and entertainment areas such as Children's Playground, Happy Square, Music Garden, Rock Climbing, and Longevity Garden.
