Weiqushe is located in Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. It is a performing arts theater built by Weinan Cultural Tourism Industry Development Co., Ltd., which integrates the promotion of traditional culture, the cultivation of quyi talents, and the enrichment of the public spirit. It is the first traditional cultural performing arts theater established in Weinan City.
Adhering to the artistic philosophy of "singing about local culture and praising Dongfu," Weiqu Society draws inspiration from Weinan's historical allusions and cultural customs. By utilizing diverse languages and cultures, rich performance forms, and professional artistic processing, they create engaging, high-quality, and positive quyi works. This gives new vitality to traditional art forms, making them a fashion and a trend.
The warm temperate continental monsoon climate has four distinct seasons, with changeable spring weather, hot and rainy summer, cool and refreshing autumn, and sunny, cold and dry winter. All four seasons are suitable for travel.
While bringing together the local intangible cultural heritage of Weinan shadow puppetry and Laoqiang, the Weiqu Society also absorbs and integrates traditional folk art and crosstalk from Shaanxi, Beijing and Tianjin, including crosstalk, Qingkou, drama, shadow puppetry and other projects.
