Dongshanling, located 2 kilometers east of Wancheng Town in Wanning City, was historically known as Bijia Mountain because of its three peaks, which resemble a pen holder. It is one of Hainan's earliest tourist attractions, once as famous as the Five Lords Temple, Luhuitou, and Tianya Haijiao. It is known as "Hainan's No. 1 Mountain."
The Dongshanling Scenic Area boasts over 100 dramatic rock formations of varying sizes, each one a magical spectacle, featuring rugged rocks and enigmatic caves. Eight of the most famous scenic spots on the ridge captivate visitors. Climbing Dongshanling, ascending from the "Cloud Road Initial Steps" at the foot of the ridge, the first thing that comes into view is the "Seven Gorges Nesting Clouds" scenic area, one of Dongshan's eight scenic spots. Here, shaded by trees and lush green grass, the gorges are filled with verdant mist, and mountain springs trickle through the rocky crevices. A clear spring buries itself at the valley's mouth, giving rise to the saying, "Several lush greenery enchants the valley's mouth, while a clear stream cascades down the forest bay."

Chaoyin Temple
There are many famous Buddhist temples on Dongshan Ridge, the most famous of which is Chaoyin Temple, built in memory of Li Gang, a famous general who fought against the Jin Dynasty during the Southern Song Dynasty. The temple attracts tourists all year round and is a popular place of worship.
Seven Gorges Nest Cloud
Climbing up 200 stone steps from the first step of the Cloud Road, you will see a winding canyon with strange rocks cascading down, deep caves hidden, and a stream of water trickling down from heaven. The red cliffs, strange caves, jungles, and exotic flowers form a series of fantastic scenery.
Sea Eye Flowing Dan
Located east of Dongling Temple, in a secluded valley nestled among lush ancient trees and tangled wild vines, lies a natural spring. Its gentle trickle flows year-round, never overflowing even in torrential rains or drying up in years of drought. Legend has it that this spring originates from the Dragon Palace in the South China Sea. An ancient poem evokes the idea that "a gap seems to lead to the azure sea, its trickling streams endlessly."
