The Fengjiang Rice Terraces draw water from the Huanglong Ditch for gravity irrigation. Construction began around the Xianfeng and Tongzhi periods of the Qing Dynasty, with subsequent additions and renovations continuing into the Republic of China. The terraces and surrounding Qing Dynasty remains hold significant value for research on the history of migration from Huguang and the development of the Qinba Mountains.
