Qixing Lake Wetland Park, located in the Saihanba Forest Farm, is a national 5A-level scenic spot. Surrounded by mountains, the one million square meter wetland features seven natural lakes of varying sizes and shapes. From an aerial perspective, the lakes resemble the Big Dipper, hence the name Qixing Lake.
According to records, false armadillo wetlands are commonly found at altitudes of 3,000 meters, but are rarely seen at elevations above 1,500 meters. They are therefore of great scientific and ornamental value. The Qixing Lake wetland in Saihanba is a prime example.
