Shengzhong Lake, the largest artificial lake in southwest China, is located within the Shengzhong Lake Scenic Area in Nanbu County, Sichuan Province. With a reservoir capacity of 1.3 billion cubic meters and a vast expanse of over 80,000 mu (approximately 16,000 acres), its main channel stretches for 80 kilometers. The lake boasts beautiful scenery, dotted with lush islands, clear waters, and lush fish. Over 40 rare species of fish, including redtails, blackbait, and whitebait, make it a nationally renowned leisure paradise, experience destination, and fishing destination.

In 2009, the inaugural China Shengzhong Lake Fishing Grand Prix kicked off here. This is the nation's largest wild fishing tournament to date, boasting the largest number of participants and the highest prize money. It was recognized by the Shanghai World Records Guinness Headquarters as the "largest wild fishing competition" and received the Guinness Best Event Award. Nanbu County was also officially designated the first "National Fishing City" by the State General Administration of Sport.

The Shengzhong Lake Fishing Culture Festival is also recognized as one of the "Three National Leisure Sports and Cultural Festivals," along with the Shandong Weifang International Kite Festival and the Qinghai Ring Lake Cycling Race. The area boasts dozens of major infrastructure facilities, including an ecological parking lot, a water sports center, a mermaid pier, six international-standard fishing ponds, a 15-kilometer ring road, an agricultural museum, and the China Fishing Culture Museum, along with over a dozen key attractions, making it a key hub for Sichuan tourism experiences.

Shenba Brick Pagoda

Built in 1864, this 14-meter-tall, seven-story hexagonal brick tower with a wood-like structure and relief carvings boasts a unique artistic style, featuring 207 relief carvings of figures, zithers, swords, books, and chess, all depicting a rich ethnic atmosphere. The carvings are expertly crafted and the sculptures are exquisitely crafted.
