The six-tusked auspicious elephant was created based on the prototype of the mount of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. On both sides of the steps in front of the four-sided statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, there are sixteen six-tusked white elephants like white jade. Each white elephant has three pairs of tusks, symbolizing "good luck and good fortune".
