The water resources of Bailing Hot Spring come from a highly mineralized hot spring in the Permian fault 2,500 meters underground . According to analysis by the Guiyang Mineral Resources Supervision and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Land and Resources, the water has high content of metasilicic acid, iron, and fluoride ions and low irritation, meeting the standards of medical mineral water. It is a high-temperature metasilicic acid hot spring with high medical value.
