The water resources of Bailing Hot Spring come from a highly mineralized hot spring in the Permian fault 2,500 meters underground . The daily water output is more than 1,200 cubic meters, the water temperature is 58 °C , the pH value is 6.94 , and the water quality is transparent with a slight yellowish hue. According to analysis by the Guiyang Mineral Resources Supervision and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Land and Resources, the water has high content of metasilicic acid, iron, and fluoride ions and low irritation, meeting the standards of medical mineral water. It is a high-temperature metasilicic acid hot spring with high medical value.
