Looking for hotel walking distance to The Hill
Looking for a place to stay walking distance to The Hill. Staying one night. Several years ago seemed like there was a holiday Inn. Is it still there? Any other suggestions are appreciated.
If you are looking to stay within walking distance of The Hill neighborhood in St. Louis, your options are a bit limited because The Hill is primarily residential with local Italian restaurants and shops rather than a hotel hub. However, there are still some possibilities nearby.
Holiday Inn: There is no longer a Holiday Inn directly on The Hill. The closest Holiday Inn would be the Holiday Inn Express & Suites St. Louis – Forest Park, which is about a 10–15 minute drive from The Hill, not within comfortable walking distance.
Hotels closer to The Hill:
- Drury Inn & Suites St. Louis Forest Park: Located roughly 1.5 miles from The Hill. It’s a short drive or about a 30-minute walk. Offers free breakfast and evening socials.
- Moonrise Hotel: Situated near Forest Park, about 2 miles from The Hill. It’s a boutique-style hotel with a modern feel and convenient access to both the park and The Hill.
