what casinos have smoking hotel rooms
ok no need for judgements of comments on smoking, but Since my last time in vegas it seems some of the casinos do not have smoking hotel rooms now, where before they allocated some rooms for smoking
do you know ant casino hotels that offer smoking rooms. Mandalay bay, luxor, delano, do not so i cancelled my reservation and am at square 1 again. grrrrrr good thing I double checked. I would have so been dead meat if we got there and the room did not allow smoking.
I get comps through mgm and caesers
thanks in advancce
Over the past few years, many Las Vegas casinos have reduced or eliminated smoking rooms due to health regulations and guest preferences. However, some still offer designated smoking rooms or allow smoking on specific floors. Since you have MGM and Caesars comps, it’s best to focus on their properties first.
Here’s an overview of properties that currently (as of 2025) provide smoking hotel rooms or floors:
- MGM Resorts: Some older properties still have smoking rooms, but most new resorts are smoke-free.
- ARIA – Mostly non-smoking; very limited smoking rooms, best to call ahead.
- Bellagio – No dedicated smoking rooms; smoking only in casino areas.
- MGM Grand – Certain towers offer smoking rooms; must request when booking.
- Excalibur – Some smoking rooms available; ask specifically for smoking floor.
- New York-New York – A few smoking rooms available; confirm with reservations.
- Caesars Entertainment: Caesars and Flamingo generally have a few smoking rooms.
- Caesars Palace – Some towers allow smoking; call to reserve.
- Flamingo – Offers smoking rooms; floors are designated.
- Harrah’s – Limited smoking rooms available; call to confirm.
- Paris – Mostly non-smoking, very limited smoking options.
Tips:
- Always call the hotel directly to confirm availability of smoking rooms and specify it at the time of booking.
- Book early—smoking rooms are limited and can sell out quickly.
- Even if a hotel allows smoking in rooms, some floors may be entirely non-smoking, so verify the tower/floor.
- If loyalty program status allows, request smoking rooms through the member services—they can often accommodate better than general reservations.
Since Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and Delano no longer offer smoking rooms, consider properties like MGM Grand, Excalibur, New York-New York, Flamingo, or Caesars Palace as your best bets. Confirm with the hotel directly to avoid any surprises upon arrival.
