One Night in Savannah

We will be stopping in Savannah for one night next week. Could anyone recommend a hotel near a parking garage, with a bar or restaurant (or near one), a view, walking distance to at least one Savannah attraction, and walking distance in the AM to a good breakfast and then a local coffee shop to grab a cup for the road. Just want to hit as much as we can in a short stint.

For your one-night stay in Savannah, here are a few hotel options that should meet your criteria of having a parking garage, a bar or restaurant, a good view, and being within walking distance of both attractions and breakfast spots:

  • The Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront - Located right on the Savannah River, this hotel offers beautiful views of the water and is within walking distance to many historic sites such as River Street and City Market. It has an upscale bar and restaurant, and parking is available nearby. For breakfast, you can head to the Huey’s on the River for Southern fare, and there's also J. Christopher’s nearby for a classic breakfast experience. A coffee shop you can grab a cup from in the morning is the Coffee Fox on Abercorn Street, just a short walk away.
  • The Kimpton Brice Hotel - Situated in the Historic District, The Kimpton Brice offers a chic vibe and a restaurant, The Outpost, which serves great food. Parking is available, and the hotel is within walking distance to key Savannah attractions, including Forsyth Park and the famous historic squares. For breakfast, try First Watch nearby, or grab a quick cup at Fox & Fig Cafe, a trendy spot just a short stroll away. This hotel combines modern amenities with a great location.
  • The Hyatt Centric Savannah - Another great option located along the riverfront, the Hyatt Centric is just steps away from River Street, where you'll find plenty of shops and restaurants. This hotel features a rooftop bar with excellent views of the river, perfect for sunset cocktails. For breakfast, walk over to The Collins Quarter, a local favorite for a delicious breakfast with an Australian twist. There are also several coffee shops, including the famous Bluffton Coffee Co., nearby.
  • The Desoto - Located just a short walk from the historic district, The Desoto is an elegant hotel with a rooftop bar and an on-site restaurant, The Coffee Shop at The DeSoto, which is perfect for grabbing a quick breakfast or coffee. It's well-placed for walking to key attractions like the Savannah History Museum, the City Market, and more. For a more local breakfast, head over to Clary’s Cafe, just a short walk away, for a Southern-style breakfast experience.

These hotels are all well-positioned for walking to Savannah’s key attractions, and they offer a mix of restaurants, bars, and convenient breakfast spots. For your coffee fix in the morning, Savannah is full of excellent local coffee shops, and you’ll have no trouble finding a place to get your caffeine fix before hitting the road!
