Okay! So I’m getting excited over here! I realize it’s only January but I am starting this topic off because I want to get the ball rolling on April! It’s the best month imo to visit Vegas after all!
I am super excited because I waited and a decent offer from Fontainebleau landed so I will be at FB from 7-11 April then heading out of town and coming back to Vdara for 16-19 April. I have offers from Wynn so may switch up that Vdara booking depending on how much I want to sit with the MGM loyalty. Very happy with Fontainebleau as I am still on my health kick and love the gym there.
MrA4A will be in town too but we are each solo for this trip, except for our flight into Vegas and when we reunite after the initial week to go to Utah He will be showing his buddies ‘how to Vegas’ from where they are based at NYNY. They have some very intriguing plans lol I am leaving them to it!
My own plans include doing a guided hike out at Valley of Fire on my first day, going to see Motley Crue with Luxegirl, doing a self-guided donut tour including picking up some cronuts (these are my nemesis!) because now there is the new Dominique Ansel location in Paris - gotta check it out!
Usual stuff like seeing the Conservatory etc, spending a lot of time playing video poker but lowrolling as usual. Hoping for good pool weather during this period!
Who else is in town in April? Love to hear your plans!
It sounds like you're going to have an amazing time in April! Fontainebleau and Vdara are both fantastic choices, and it seems like you’ve got a great mix of activities planned, from the hike to seeing Motley Crue and indulging in cronuts at Dominique Ansel. Here are some ideas to enhance your trip or inspire other people visiting Vegas in April:
For those who might be joining you in Vegas in April, here’s what else could be on the agenda:
For the pool scene, keep an eye on the weather as it can start to warm up nicely in April. Both Fontainebleau and Vdara are great spots to enjoy the pool, but if you're looking to explore more, try out the Venetian pool area or Wynn’s pool complex, which is known for its beautiful and relaxed vibe.
If you're into low-rolling video poker, try visiting The Cosmopolitan for a relaxed casino atmosphere, or you can hit up some of the older, more classic properties like The D or Fremont Hotel downtown for a more nostalgic feel. Both spots tend to offer more affordable gaming with a lively environment.
As for the rest of your stay in Utah and with MrA4A's plans, sounds like a mix of high-energy fun and great relaxation time. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the time with your son and his friends too as they discover their own Vegas adventure!
What else is everyone looking forward to in Vegas in April? Anyone else planning a similar trip or looking for new experiences to add to their plans? Can’t wait to hear more!
