Best Hilton brand hotel closer to west Sunset Blvd.

Question

Having surgery at the Valley Health Speciality Hospital and need a place to stay for 7 nights. Not going to be going out at night or need a casino. I understand the Embassy Suites by Hilton is not in a good neighborhood. We looked at the Tropicana HIlton, and the HIlton Garden Inn. I h ave read there are a lot of transient people by the Tropicana. Looking for a place with some lower key restaurants nearby within walking distance and a decent pool so my husband can swim while I recoup. I know nothing about Las Vegas and what good and bad neighborhoods there are. Can anyone help? I was going to book the Embassy Suites until I read it is in a real bad neighborhood
