Bellagio Suites- Locations/Perks?

I have a pretty good price for a Bellagio “strip view” suite. We’re currently in a fountain view salone suite, which I understand isn’t a true suite with separate rooms. Question being, are there any additional perks to booking a true suite room that make it worth it? It’s just my husband and I so we don’t need a giant room, but if it’s truly a better experience we may move room types.

Additionally, is the strip view suite guaranteed spa tower, or will we get a smidge of fountain views in there? We prefer main tower by far so that’s priority!

Bellagio is known for its luxurious accommodations, and moving from a Fountain View Salone Suite to a true Strip View Suite can indeed offer a different experience, but there are a few factors to consider when deciding if it’s worth it for your trip. Let’s break down the details:

True Suite vs. Salone Suite:

While your current Fountain View Salone Suite may not have separate rooms, it still offers a spacious layout with a sitting area and a good view of the Bellagio Fountains. The true suite options, like the Strip View Suite, typically feature a more distinct division between the living and sleeping areas, offering more privacy and space, which can be a more comfortable experience, especially for lounging or entertaining. Some additional perks that may come with booking a true suite include:

  • More Space: True suites tend to have more square footage, providing additional space to move around and enjoy different areas (like a dedicated sitting area, large work desk, or wet bar).
  • Upgraded Amenities: Higher-tier suites often come with more luxurious amenities, including larger bathrooms, premium toiletries, and better in-room dining options.
  • Better View Options: A Strip View Suite will likely offer a fantastic view of the Las Vegas Strip, but may not guarantee a full, uninterrupted view of the fountains—though you could get a partial fountain view, depending on the room's location.
  • Exclusive Access: Some suites offer access to the Bellagio’s VIP services, including priority reservations, concierge support, and possibly early check-in or late check-out (based on availability).

Strip View Suite Location:

When booking a Strip View Suite, it’s important to know that these suites are often located in the Spa Tower, which provides excellent views of the Strip. However, as you mentioned, there is a possibility of getting a partial view of the fountains, depending on the suite's specific orientation. If the view of the fountains is a priority for you, I’d recommend requesting a room specifically in the Main Tower, which is where the fountain views are most prominent. While the Strip View Suites in the Spa Tower are wonderful, if you prefer to be closer to the fountains, you may want to mention this preference when booking.

Additional Considerations:

  • Room Size: If you’re not looking for a huge room, the Salone Suite may already meet your needs without the added cost of upgrading to a larger suite.
  • Experience: The Bellagio’s true suites offer a more elevated experience in terms of luxury, but the Salone Suite, though not a "true suite," still provides a great stay with easy access to the casino, restaurants, and of course, the fountains.
  • Cost Factor: Consider whether the extra cost for a true suite with a strip view (and the perks that come with it) fits into your overall budget and if it’s worth the upgrade for just the two of you.

In summary, while the true suite offers a more expansive experience with additional perks and privacy, the Salone Suite is still a great option and more than comfortable for two people. If the view and the experience of the suite are important to you, upgrading to the Strip View Suite could be a great option, just make sure to check with the hotel about your preference for the Main Tower to maximize the fountain views!
