Restaurant Week Recommendations

I will be in town from Jan 24-27. Drop your recommendations for restaurant week.

I have Boka and Alla Vita booked already. I would like at least another dinner recommendation.

Bonus is you can also suggest night clubs and bars in the downtown area. We are staying at the London House. We can easily Uber or walk! Thanks!

It sounds like you're going to have a fantastic time in Chicago! Since you've already booked Boka and Alla Vita, here are a few more restaurant week recommendations for your dinner plans:

1. The Capital Grille

Located in the heart of the city, The Capital Grille is perfect for a classic steakhouse experience. The elegant, upscale atmosphere and their expertly cooked steaks make it a great choice for a refined dinner. They also have a great wine list and impeccable service. During Restaurant Week, they offer a delicious three-course menu with options like filet mignon, lobster bisque, and decadent desserts.

2. The Aviary

If you're looking for something a little more unique and experience-driven, The Aviary is a high-end cocktail bar with innovative drinks and a stunning view of the city. It’s more of a drink-and-dine experience, so this could be perfect for your group to unwind after a big dinner at one of the more formal spots. While it's not usually part of Restaurant Week, they offer a luxurious experience with crafted cocktails and small bites that feel like art.

If you’re in the mood for a fun, vibrant spot with bold flavors, Girl & The Goat in the West Loop is a great option. Known for its eclectic and exciting menu, this spot offers a mix of globally-inspired dishes that can be a real treat during Restaurant Week. Try the roasted pig face, goat empanadas, and crispy pork belly. It's a lively, casual atmosphere that’s perfect for groups.

4. Nobu Chicago

If you're a fan of sushi or Japanese fusion, Nobu offers an upscale yet approachable atmosphere with incredible seafood and Japanese-inspired dishes. Located in the heart of Chicago, Nobu often offers special dishes during Restaurant Week. Their Black Cod Miso and sushi platters are famous, and it’s an ideal place if you want to indulge in an elegant and world-renowned dining experience.
