Getting there - We were scheduled to leave early afternoon on Wed, Feb. 12, so of course a major snow event was being forecast for that day after having no snow all winter long. We got notification from Southwest Monday night that we could change our flights for free due to possible weather issues, so we made the executive decision to leave on Tues night instead of Wed afternoon. We’ve never done that before, and it was very easy to change the flight on the app, and so glad we did! Then we called Horseshoe and added a night, which was comped, so no problem there. I had planned to work on Tues so when I got in I let my boss know I had to leave at lunch since our flight changed. I got home, packed and we were off to the airport! Flight was on time, not full, and we got in a little early.
