Versailles room check in and self park

Hi all,

Staying in Versailles tower @ Paris for a week in early May with a few buddies (one of our party is staying @ Horseshoe).

We land late ish on a Monday evening following our UK flight with BA and are collecting our Hertz car directly @ Harry Reid.

As far as I know we are supposed to check in at Horseshoe (as most of you know Versailles is the old Jubilee tower) so wondering if anyone has experienced this recently and any new info etc please?

Secondly, the driver will drop us off whilst we take all our luggage and check in for us and him. Would he be best to park in Horseshoe self park or Paris? (Unsure which is more convenient for us from inside).

TIA,

Andy

It sounds like you're in for a fun trip! Here’s the information I can provide based on recent experiences at the Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe properties:

1. Check-in at Horseshoe: You’re correct that the Versailles Tower (formerly the Jubilee Tower) is now part of the Paris property but is checked in at Horseshoe. This has been the case for a while, as Horseshoe handles the check-in for some of Paris’s additional towers. Check-in is typically at the Horseshoe main lobby, not the Paris lobby, so you’ll want to head there when you arrive. The Horseshoe lobby is located near the casino entrance, so it should be easy to find.

If you’re arriving late, don’t worry—there should still be staff at the front desk to check you in. They’re familiar with late-night arrivals, especially after long-haul flights. Make sure you have your reservation confirmation and ID ready to speed up the check-in process.

2. Parking for the Driver: Since you’ll be dropped off while the driver parks the car, the parking decision depends on proximity to your room and convenience:

  • Option 1: Horseshoe Self-Park – This is likely the most convenient option for your driver. The Horseshoe self-park is directly adjacent to the Horseshoe hotel entrance, which is where you'll be checking in. It’s a short walk from the parking area to the lobby. If your driver plans to park the car and then help you with luggage, this will be quicker.
  • Option 2: Paris Self-Park – This is a bit further compared to Horseshoe’s self-park, but it’s still a reasonable option if your driver plans to stay parked while you check in. Paris’s self-park is slightly further from the Versailles Tower rooms but more convenient if you plan to stay at Paris or need easy access to Paris amenities.

If you’re only checking in at Horseshoe, the closer option (Horseshoe self-park) would be your best bet for minimal walking and a smoother check-in. However, if your driver wants to park and stay with the car for a while, then Paris might be more appropriate, though it requires a bit more walking to your room. Both parking garages are within easy reach of the Strip, so you’ll have no problem accessing either.
