Question

I have seen photos/videos of the Sphere & would like to see it in person. I see it's adjacent to the Venetian Resort.

My questions:

- is the Sphere an event space only? Is there anything else going on inside that is worth checking out?

- are the video shows worth seeing? (I wouldn't be there/staying for a live concert). Looks like prices are ~$100?

- does the outside always have active displays? is there some schedule of what is shown (on the outside)?

- is there a location outside or somewhere else where you can sit or stand watch the display?

This would likely be a quick day trip - thinking the best way to visit would be taxi to the Venetian and go from there. I assume I could catch a cab back to the airport from the hotel as well.
