Where would you prefer to stay
We are coming to stay in Atlanta for 2 nights .
Which hotel would preferably to stay comparing:
The Westin Peachtree Plaza, Atlanta and Indigo downtown.
Both of them are not budget hotels and in addition the parking is very expensive.
Maybe nearby there is not hotel's parking ?
Thank you in Advance
Both The Westin Peachtree Plaza and Hotel Indigo Downtown are great options, but they offer different experiences and amenities. Here’s a comparison to help you decide which would be better for your stay:
The Westin Peachtree Plaza:
- Location: The Westin is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, offering stunning views of the city skyline from its 73rd-floor revolving restaurant and observation deck. It’s a great choice if you want to be in the middle of the action, close to attractions like Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium, and the World of Coca-Cola.
- Amenities: The Westin is known for its luxurious amenities, including a heated outdoor pool, a well-equipped fitness center, and the rotating restaurant. It’s a large hotel with a more traditional, upscale vibe.
- Parking: Parking can be expensive, but there are nearby parking options available. You can find street parking or use nearby public parking garages. However, the hotel’s own valet parking service is usually pricier. It’s recommended to check for alternatives to save on parking fees.
Hotel Indigo Downtown:
- Location: Hotel Indigo is also centrally located but has a slightly more modern and boutique feel. It’s near attractions like the Georgia State Capitol, Peachtree Center, and the Atlanta Streetcar. While not as towering as The Westin, it offers a more laid-back vibe and is a little closer to midtown’s artsy spots.
- Amenities: Hotel Indigo is a stylish boutique hotel, with unique and contemporary design, especially in the lobby and rooms. It features a rooftop bar (great for evening drinks) and a small fitness center. It’s ideal for a more relaxed, trendy atmosphere, and may feel a bit more intimate compared to the larger Westin.
- Parking: Like The Westin, parking here is also on the expensive side. However, there may be nearby public parking garages that are more affordable. Check the area for street parking or nearby lots to avoid hotel parking rates.
Which Hotel to Choose?
- If you’re looking for luxury and iconic views with a central location and don’t mind spending a bit more on parking, The Westin is an excellent choice.
- If you prefer a more boutique, relaxed vibe with a cool rooftop bar and trendy design, Hotel Indigo may be a better fit.
Parking Alternatives:
- Check for nearby public parking garages, which might offer better rates than the hotel’s valet service.
- Some hotels offer discounted parking rates for guests if you book through specific platforms or if you’re a loyalty program member. It’s worth asking at check-in.
- Another option could be using parking apps (such as SpotHero) that offer discounted rates at nearby parking lots, or check with the hotel to see if they have arrangements with nearby garages for a better rate.
Both hotels offer a great experience, so it ultimately depends on your preference for atmosphere and convenience. Enjoy your stay in Atlanta!
