🌟Day 1: Dubai - Abu Dhabi
- Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: Visit early when it opens to avoid crowds; it's also beautiful at dusk. You can buy appropriate clothing in advance on Taobao or in Dubai.
- Louvre Abu Dhabi: Stunning and definitely worth a visit, with many exhibits from the Louvre in France.
- Capital Gate: On the way between the first two attractions, you can stop to see this Guinness World Record holder for the most inclined man-made tower.
*Other attractions: Ferrari World, Presidential Palace, Emirates Palace Hotel, Heritage Village, Etihad Towers, Corniche Beach
🌟Day 2: Abu Dhabi - Sharjah
Sharjah is about a 30-minute drive from Dubai and is a great place to better understand Islamic culture and local life in the UAE.
- Al Bait: Renovated from an old mansion, perfect for taking great photos anywhere.
- Sharjah Museum of History: Right next to Al Bait.
- Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization: A must-visit for those interested in Islamic culture.
- King Faisal Mosque: One of the more architecturally unique mosques in the UAE; local guys at the entrance said we could go inside for a visit.
- Rain Room: A popular photo spot, only 6 people allowed inside at a time. It’s best to buy tickets in advance; buying on-site may involve waiting.
- Other attractions: Locomotive Market, Al Noor Mosque (recommended by many but considered average and apparently not open for visits; however, you can relax in the large palm grove in front of the mosque)
🌟Day 3: Sharjah - Dubai (Desert Safari)
You can book a group tour for the desert safari on travel platforms; the itinerary and arrangements are generally similar. Alternatively, you can hire a private car and customize your route to include desert coffee or dinner stops.
🌟Day 4: Dubai
- Take photos of the Burj Khalifa exterior at Palace Downtown.
- For a high viewpoint, Sky Views is recommended; you can photograph the Burj Khalifa and try the glass slide. The Burj Khalifa observation deck is not recommended due to long queues even with pre-booked tickets, and the view is similar to Sky Views.
- Take the metro or a boat to see Palm Jumeirah, or visit The View at The Palm.
- Beach activities: Marina Beach (with a view of the Ferris wheel), Jumeirah Beach (with a view of the Burj Al Arab), Kite Beach, La Mer Beach.
- Museum of the Future (tickets need to be purchased 2-3 weeks in advance).
- Visit Dubai Mall and watch the musical fountain show.
🌟Day 5: Dubai
- Gold Frame (view and take photos from a distance).
- Explore the old town: Iranian Town, Al Seef, Sheikh Mohammed Cultural Centre area.
- Take an abra boat ride at Dubai Old Souq, Al Fahidi, and Al Seef docks.
- Shopping and buying souvenirs.
Others: Atlantis, Bluewaters Island, Spice and Gold Souks, visit Burj Al Arab, skydiving, helicopter tours, seaplane rides, hot air ballooning, luxury yacht cruises.
