I then walked to the nearby Bukeyashiki (Samurai Residence), a beautifully preserved complex that offers a vivid glimpse into the daily life of a mid-ranking samurai family.
· Evening – Castle Illuminations & Local Sake: As dusk fell, I witnessed the castle beautifully illuminated, its white walls glowing against the night sky—a truly magical sight. I ended my day in the city center, trying Aizu's famous sauce katsudon (pork cutlet rice bowl) and sampling local sake, reflecting on the region's deep history.
