The Hidden Gem of Kyrgyzstan: Altyn Arashan

Known as the Switzerland of Central Asia, Altyn Arashan is a hidden gem in Kyrgyzstan.

From the starting point, it takes about 6 hours of trekking to reach this undisputedly remote paradise!

While you can also ascend by horse or jeep, we recommend hiking on your own to enjoy the 360-degree breathtaking views along the way.

During the best season from June to August, you can stay in a yurt. However, when we visited in September, it was too cold to stay overnight. That said, the hot springs we soaked in amidst the chilly weather were absolutely exceptional!
