NAVAT Restaurant

For those who have a chance to visit Almaty, Kazakhstan, I recommend you to try the local food there for a meal to fully experience it. The restaurant I would like to recommend is NAVAT Restaurant, which has many branches. The branch I visited is located at Dostyk Ave 48. The restaurant is decorated in bright and eye-catching colors in the traditional Kazakhstani style. The beautiful lamps, brightly colored wall tiles, and patterned sofas and curtains reflect Central Asia. Inside the restaurant, there is also a Kids Club zone. From the outside, you might think that it is a luxurious and expensive restaurant because of the grand entrance. But I must say that the price is not as expensive as you think when calculated in Thai baht.

The staff here provides very good service, but there are limitations in English because the staff can only speak a little. But don't worry, the restaurant has an English menu with pictures, but there are not many explanations for each menu. You have to ask the staff. But personally, I think that this is one of the charms of traveling abroad. Don't worry too much about it. You should try the local food in the places you visit.

Let's talk about the food. I must say that the taste is delicious. The menu that you must try is "horse meat". The recommended menu is Besparmak. It tastes good, but it might be too salty for Thai people like us. Let's summarize. If anyone comes to visit Almaty, I recommend that you should try eating here at least once. Don't miss eating authentic Kazakhstani food.
