The city of Almaty, whose name means "Apple Country" in the local language...

- Zenkov Cathedral... One of the largest wooden churches in the world. When I visited, a Russian Orthodox ceremony was being held inside, with the bells from the top floor ringing throughout, creating a solemn atmosphere.

- Koktobe Park... Koktobe Park towers overlooking the city of Almaty... Access to the top is typically by cable car. Koktobe Park is bustling with activity, featuring an amusement park and souvenir shops.
→Note: The cable car is quite high, so we recommend purchasing a one-way cable car ticket and then walking down the mountain on the promenade. It's also possible to reach the bus stop at the base in about 20-30 minutes.

The transportation system and cityscape are well-developed, and contrary to my expectations before visiting, I got the impression that it's a very easy city to visit.
