Blue Views for Days, Zhinvali Reservoir

#summervacay Stopped by Zhinvali Reservoir in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Province, and honestly, it was way more stunning than I expected. You’re just driving along the Georgian Military Highway, and suddenly, this huge lake with crazy turquoise water shows up out of nowhere. It’s got that unreal, Instagram-perfect look without even trying.

The water is so clear and blue it almost looks fake. Mountains all around, reflections on the surface, it’s seriously a postcard. There’s a few viewpoints along the road where you can stop, take pics, or just chill and take it all in.

Right nearby is Ananuri Fortress, which makes the whole stop even better. Old stone towers, archways, and more epic views of the lake. It’s the kind of place where you just want to sit for a while and do nothing.

It’s not really a “do stuff” spot, more of a soak-in-the-scenery kind of vibe. Perfect break on a road trip. Peaceful, beautiful, and totally worth pulling over for.
