Lily Shop, a cafe full of emotion

While walking through Anseong Old Street over the weekend, I stumbled upon a small cafe called Lily Shop.

Perhaps because it's nestled in an old alley, the exterior exuded a charming and cozy atmosphere.

Unlike larger franchise cafes, the space had a simple yet warm feel.

As soon as you open the door, you're greeted by soft lighting and the fragrant aroma of coffee. While there aren't many tables, the space is well-decorated without feeling cramped, creating a cozy atmosphere. Vintage items are scattered throughout, adding to the charm of the place, and it's also a great spot for a quiet chat with your partner. The window seats, in particular, let in soft sunlight, making them perfect for a relaxing moment with a cup of coffee.

The coffee had a rich aroma and was well-balanced. The milk foam in my latte was smooth, and I could tell the barista had put a lot of effort into making it. The macarons I ordered for dessert were delicious: not overly sweet, crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. Best of all, the prices for both the coffee and the macarons were reasonable, making it a pleasant experience.

On rainy or cold days, when it's difficult to venture outside, Lily's Shop is the perfect indoor date spot. The quiet music playing in the background makes for a great private conversation, and the warm atmosphere made our stay comfortable throughout.
If you're looking for a romantic cafe date in Anseong, I highly recommend Lily's Shop. I loved it so much I'd love to visit again with friends. 💛
