Aomori Museum of Art, Japan: A great place to enjoy art and check in

It is a 20-minute bus ride and a 5-minute walk from Aomori Station. The museum features works by Yoshitomo Nara, a famous contemporary artist from Aomori: White Aomori Dog, Mori no Ko, etc. Moreover, the art museum itself was designed by LV's official architect Jun Aoki, and there is a large green meadow nearby, so it is worth spending half a day to appreciate the art works and take photos.

Transportation: Take Aomori City Bus S51 from JR Aomori Station and get off at "Prefectural Art Museum"
Tickets: (Basic exhibition) Adults 510 yen, university and high school students 300 yen, elementary and junior high school students 100 yen
Opening hours: 9:30 - 17:00 (last admission is 16:30),
(Closed) 2nd and 4th Monday of each month (holidays are postponed to the next day) and 25/12-1/1
