[Art] Aomori's most famous art spot! Aomori Museum of Art 🎨

One of the places I wanted to go to when I went to Aomori Prefecture! I went to the Aomori Museum of Art, which has a large collection of Yoshitomo Nara's works✨It's located near the Sannai-Maruyama ruins, which are familiar from history textbooks! The architecture of the building was also inspired by the Sannai-Maruyama ruins👀While many Japanese art museums don't allow photography, it's nice that there are many exhibits where photography is allowed📸
Highlights of the Aomori Museum of Art━━━━━━━━━━━✅Works by contemporary artist Yoshitomo Nara! Check out the 8.5m-tall Aomori dog and the octagonal hall in particular! ✅A must-see is the complete exhibition of all four of Chagall's Aleko background paintings in the large hall! ✅The fonts for the symbol mark, logo, and museum guide are original and unique✅There are also plenty of cafes and shops✅There are many works by artists with ties to Aomori, such as Shiko Munakata and Toru Narita!

It takes at least 3 hours to look around carefully. If you want to stop by a cafe or something, it's a good idea to budget even more! I also saw the special exhibition, so I ended up rushing at the end...I wanted to take more time to look around!
Important points━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━⚠️You can get close to the Aomori dogs and take photos, but be aware that you can only go up to 4:30pm, which is earlier than the closing time! Also, there is no stand for taking photos, so if you want to take a photo with yourself in it, it's a good idea to ask someone to do it for you⚠️It's a very impressive museum, so if it's your first time, make sure you have plenty of time◎
