See cherry blossoms @ Hirosaki Park

Hirosaki Park is a park that is very famous for cherry blossoms in Japan. It is a place for local people to relax. There are different festivals in each season, such as the cherry blossom festival in spring, the red leaf festival in autumn, and the snow lantern festival in winter.

It is the time when cherry blossoms are starting to bloom. Amidst the bright sunlight and the cherry blossom buds are blooming, it is a sign that the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival has begun. During the event, everyone can enjoy many activities such as the cherry blossom tunnel, viewing the cherry blossom raft, and the cherry blossom tree illumination display at night, which attracts not only locals but also tourists to come and see the cherry blossoms in Hirosaki Park.

Access: Take the train from Tokyo Station (Shinkansen) → Shin-Aomori Station → Hirosaki Station, about 4 hours, then take a bus.
