The local markets in Ciutadella and Mahón are a budget traveler’s dream. I bought bread, Mahón cheese, olives, and fruit — everything local, fresh, and cheap. Then I took my picnic to the cliffs near Cala Morell. Sitting there with my simple meal, the sea stretched endlessly in front of me. A bottle of water, a good view, and local food — pure Menorca magic for just a few euros.
