Arequipa, the White City, rose in sunlight beneath skies brushed with gold. Its walls of sillar glowed softly, echoing stories of time. From every corner, volcanoes watched—Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu—silent giants wrapped in mist. Their snow-capped peaks shimmered at dawn, painting the horizon with awe. As I wandered through cloisters and quiet plazas, the air carried a hush, as if the city itself was listening. Arequipa held me in its gentle light, where earth and fire meet sky.
