Just got back from a 7-day trip to Switzerland, here's my experience summary...

Got super lucky with the weather - it was sunny for five straight days, allowing me to snap over 1,000 photos!

Grindelwald 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
A must-visit! Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, it's breathtakingly beautiful. The view behind Sunstar Hotel is particularly photogenic.

Lake Brienz 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
From Interlaken Ost, you can take buses or trains to both shores (⚠️they're not connected - you'll need to return to Interlaken to switch). This was the most stunning lake we saw, best visited before sunset when the water turns a gorgeous sapphire blue.
Bus stops: Crash Landing on You filming location/Tenn/Matte
Train stop: Brienzer Uferpromenade

Spiez 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Lake Thun isn't as vividly blue as Lake Brienz, with deeper hues. Spiez town is quiet and peaceful. Stayed two nights at Belvédère Strandhotel which has indoor/outdoor pools and a small scenic viewpoint - very photogenic!

Zermatt 🌟🌟🌟🌟
1.5-hour train from Spiez plus 30-minute cogwheel train to Matterhorn. This high-altitude town is chilly - pack extra layers.

Lauterbrunnen 🌟🌟🌟🌟
40-minute train from Grindelwald. A small waterfall town with stunning cascades.

Mürren 🌟🌟🌟
30-minute cable car + cogwheel train from Lauterbrunnen. A cliffside village surrounded by mountains with expansive views, especially photogenic when flowers bloom.

Mount Rigi, Lucerne 🌟🌟🌟
2 hours up by boat + train, 1.5 hours down by train + cable car + boat.

Weggis 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Accessible by Rigi Kaltbad cable car or Lucerne boat. Surprisingly beautiful hidden gem! Lush green fields dotted with daisies🌼. The Rigistrasse path from cable car to boat station has exceptionally vibrant vegetation.

✅ Handy tips:
🔸Don't forget passport, credit cards, ID🪪, and visa💳 - essential documents!
🔸Switzerland uses 3-pin round plugs - remember adapters and power strips for all your devices
🔸Comfortable hiking shoes are mandatory - First Mountain's rocky paths are no joke
🔸Full sun protection gear: sunglasses🕶️ and sunscreen - Jungfraujoch's UV rays are serious
This Swiss journey was utterly satisfying, with breathtaking views at every turn. Having everything taken care of by the team made it absolutely delightful❗
