I had lunch and dessert at Hanazomukashi, a lovely traditional Japanese café in Asakusa.

The atmosphere inside was peaceful and calming, perfect for a quiet meal.

I ordered the flavorful kama-meshi (rice cooked in a pot) along with a cheesecake and a black honey latte. The cheesecake was especially fun—they torch it right in front of you, giving it a unique smoky flavor.
