[Atami] Kinomiya Shrine, one of the most powerful spots in Atami

This is Kinomiya Shrine in Atami.

It's one of the most powerful spots in Atami, so many people probably know about it.

It's about a 15-minute walk up the hill from Atami Station.

There are buses and taxis available from the station, so I recommend taking those in the summer.

When you arrive at the shrine, you'll be greeted by a torii gate surrounded by trees. It has a very nice atmosphere.

The facility has been renovated, and there is a stylish cafe on the premises, and the toilets are also very clean!

Going further in, you'll find the oldest sacred tree in Japan. It's very large and has a majestic atmosphere.

There is also a cafe here, and there are many trees, so you can enjoy yourself while soaking up plenty of negative ions!

When you come out after praying, there is a heart made of fallen leaves outside, which was adorable!

There are also several platforms for taking photos, so even if you're embarrassed to ask someone, it's fine!

Near the entrance, there is a sacred tree that was struck by lightning. It's very moving to see it still standing strong despite being struck by lightning.
