Atami's hidden treasures are more attractive than the fireworks festival!
Atami not only has the highly anticipated fireworks festival, but also many hidden spots worth exploring! Here are some of the delicious food, fun things to do, and places to visit recommended by Japanese variety shows to make your trip to Atami even more memorable!
🌹 ACAO FOREST, Atami Rose Garden
In this place facing the sea and located halfway up the mountain, the glass cafe designed by Kengo Kuma will bring you the biggest surprise. Next to it is a dreamy sea of roses and a lawn facing the sea. You can often hear beautiful piano sounds. It is a great place to take photos! This place is definitely worth a visit, highly recommended!
🚶♂️ Kaisui Park
As the main venue for the fireworks festival, Kaisui Park is perfect for a leisurely stroll. There are yachts docked here and magnificent sea views, allowing you to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
🍜 Kinmedai Ramen
After tasting Kinmedai Ramen for the first time, it instantly became one of my top three ramen choices. Although the environment is average, it is very popular and you often have to queue up. It is recommended that you prepare some change to cope with the anticipation of this delicious food!
🍮 Atami Pudding
A popular check-in spot in Atami, the Atami Station store always has a long queue and is incredibly popular. I recommend you go to the second store in Atami Ginza, which often attracts many couples to take photos and check in, and the atmosphere is full of sweetness!
These places make Atami more attractive than just fireworks festivals. Come and discover these beauties! ✨
