Every September, Toowoomba (Darling Downs) holds a "Carnival of Flowers," and the whole city is decorated with colorful flowers. The parks, streets, and gardens are filled with flowers, making you feel like you've wandered into a storybook world 🌷🌻
When I actually visited, the flower beds at Queen's Park were overwhelming, and everywhere I looked was photogenic! The smiles of the local people and the picnic scene surrounded by flowers warmed my heart. If you go as a couple, you can have a romantic time, and even if you're traveling alone, you can enjoy plenty of healing and excitement.
It is about an hour and a half by car from Brisbane. You can also take the train or bus, so it's enough to enjoy it on a day trip.
The key to success is to "visit on a weekday morning." There are few people, so you can enjoy the flowers at your leisure 📸. If you bring a picnic sheet and snacks, you can relax among the flowers!
