I went to Awaji Island by boat. It takes about 13 minutes from Akashi Port to Iwaya Port on the Genova Line. You pass under the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, so when you look up, you will be impressed by the magnificent and beautiful bridge.

This route is also recommended for those who mainly visit Kobe or Himeji. It's a bit of a maniac course.
Caution! Hayashiya is very popular, so order in advance. On this day, it was ready in about 15 minutes. Keep in mind that it may depart from Iwaya at 2pm when it's busy! Reservations are required for the Hayashiya Sushi Shop next door.
Just being able to see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge above your head will make you happy, so please give it a try. I get seasick easily, but this route was fine😊
