Hokuto Earthquake Memorial Park

It is located close to Kita Awaji IC on Awaji Island.

It has been 27 years since the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, but here, actual items that show what it was like at the time are preserved.

I was reminded of the horror of the earthquake.

You can actually experience a magnitude 7 earthquake.

The view from the park is amazing, and the conger eel tempura bowl at the restaurant Sakura on the premises is exquisite.
