Walking into Kek Lok Si Temple, my first stop was the stone bridge that felt like it belonged in a painting. The ornate carvings and soft grey stone looked even more beautiful against the lush greenery and rocky stream beneath. Crossing it felt like stepping into a calmer world.
Not far away, I spotted the temple’s turtle pond! Watching the turtles slowly swim while visitors fed them was surprisingly relaxing. It’s a little pocket of peace in a temple already filled with serenity—perfect if you’re looking to pause and take in the details.
