Spring Trip to Baku: Exploring the Old City

Spring is the perfect time to visit Baku, Azerbaijan! With mild temperatures and blooming flowers, the city comes alive. One of my favorite spots to visit is the Old City (Icherisheher), where history and culture meet in a charming maze of narrow streets and ancient architecture. Walking through this UNESCO World Heritage site is like stepping back in time. From the Maiden Tower to the Shirvanshahs’ Palace, there’s so much to discover. The atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s easy to get lost in the beauty of it all.

The Old City is also home to some great cafes, so you can take a break and enjoy a cup of Azerbaijani tea while soaking in the atmosphere.
