Ubud's Hidden Luxury Aman Danuin Hotel Exploration

Recently stayed at the dream Aman Danuin Hotel, and it was absolutely stunning! This hotel is located in Kedewatan, just a 10-minute drive from the bustling center of Ubud, making transportation very convenient. When we arrived at the airport, the hotel’s arranged transfer service made the journey incredibly easy, and the driver enthusiastically introduced us to the local customs along the way, filling me with anticipation for this vacation.

The hotel's location is truly exceptional, right across from a canyon with breathtaking views. The architecture perfectly blends traditional Balinese village elements, making it a true paradise. Every staff member was warm and friendly during our stay. Check-in required no deposit, and all procedures went smoothly, which felt very thoughtful. The hotel also upgraded us to a valley suite for free, which included a private pavilion where we could fully enjoy our meals.

The room interior is filled with a classical atmosphere, simple yet comfortable. The most special feature is the outdoor bathroom, where you can bathe with your partner. Although some small animals might visit, it didn’t affect our mood at all. Breakfast is included in the room rate, with a wide variety of options and fresh fruit replenished daily. My favorite was the mangosteen, which the staff quickly brought to us (full marks for thoughtfulness⭐). The only minor downside was that the bed was a bit damp, but I guess that’s part of being close to nature.

For relaxation, I enjoyed watching the valley view from the room balcony while listening to the flowing Ayung River—a truly rare and pleasant moment. The hotel’s infinity pool was also fantastic, with the deepest part over 1.5 meters, allowing me to swim to my heart’s content. The afternoon tea from 4:00 to 5:00 PM was delightful, offering black coffee and ginger tea options, paired with small desserts that left a lasting impression.

There are also many places to explore around the hotel. The hotel provides free shuttle service to the center of Ubud, which is very convenient. We visited many restaurants in Ubud, such as Room 4 Dessert and Balinese Home Cooking, where we enjoyed many delicious local dishes.

Of course, there were some minor flaws, like the dinner being average, but these didn’t affect the overall wonderful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute here, immersed in tranquility, comfort, and luxury. Aman Danuin is indeed the perfect choice for a vacation, highly recommended for those who want to escape the hustle and fully enjoy a peaceful paradise. Looking forward to experiencing this wonderful place again next time!
