Songling Forest Park, located within the Li'an Forest Farm in Donghai County, lies at the junction of three counties in Jiangsu and Shandong provinces, offering convenient transportation. The farm covers a total area of 45,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres), including 39,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres) of forest land. The park features over 300 tree species from 90 families, including black pine, locust, cypress, loblolly pine, and red pine, with a total stock volume of 34,500 cubic meters. Twenty-one species of wildlife are commonly found, including pheasants, hares, quail, turtledoves, and hedgehogs.
Qingsongling Forest Park boasts lush pines and cypresses, crisscrossing streams, and a beautiful environment. Leveraging its abundant botanical and wildlife resources, the park has developed three scenic areas, including a rare botanical garden, a 10,000-acre honeysuckle base, and a self-driving tour base, in accordance with pristine ecological standards. The park also boasts numerous attractions, including the Longevity Spring, Bamboo Garden, Lover's Valley, a grass-skiing field, Dragon Spring, a fishing platform, a barbecue pit, and an outdoor training base, all displaying distinct local characteristics.
The park was approved by the Lianyungang Municipal People's Government and named a municipal forest park in 1995. In 2008, it was successfully established as a national agricultural tourism demonstration site and was awarded the honorary title of Jiangsu Province's four-star rural tourism site in 2011. It is a green pearl in the west of Lianyungang City.
