About 2 to 3 hours from Kuta. I went to 📍Mathis Lodge, Amed in Amed, eastern Bali!

After arriving at the shuttle bus stop for the hotel, it’s a 15-minute drive up the mountain by private shuttle. The road is so bumpy you wonder if it really exists! It’s fun like an attraction!!

January in Bali is the rainy season, so the weather was unfortunate, and the mountain climate changes quickly, making brief sunny moments very precious✨ A cottage in the mountains that nature lovers will adore, with the best location surrounded by sea and mountains📍

At night you can see the stars, and the lit-up restaurant is so cute🕯️ The cheeseburger was delicious🍔

It’s far from Bali’s city center, but it has the charm unique to a rural town🌿

The staff were all kind, quickly helping when the converter I brought didn’t work, and when I couldn’t get a taxi to the next hotel (about 5 minutes away), they kindly gave me a ride by shuttle♡
