Pandawa Beach

Spending time in Bali is always an experience that never gets boring, and this time I chose to explore two enchanting beaches: Pandawa Beach and Balangan Beach. Both have different charms, yet equally soothing to the soul.
Pandawa Beach, with its grand entrance flanked by limestone cliffs and statues of the Pandawa Five, welcomed me with a unique exotic atmosphere. Its white sand is fine, the sea water is clear blue, and the ambiance is perfect for just relaxing or trying activities like canoeing and snorkeling. I sat under an umbrella while enjoying young coconut, feeling the cool sea breeze, and gazing at the calm horizon. I also kayaked around Pandawa Beach for 50k/hour. Here, time seemed to slow down—everything felt peaceful.
Then I continued my journey to Balangan Beach, which is more hidden and feels like a hidden gem in southern Bali. From the cliff above, the view was amazing. The sea water hitting the rocks with a constant rhythm created a soothing natural sound. This beach is more known by surfers because of its high and strong waves. Although I’m not a surfer, I really enjoyed sitting at the beach edge, letting the waves wash over my feet, while watching the sun slowly set on the horizon. The sunset at Balangan is one of the most magical I’ve ever seen—the sky colors changed from orange to purple in an instant, creating a perfect natural painting.
Two beaches, two experiences, one conclusion: Bali truly is a paradise of tranquility and beauty. Every corner holds a story, and Pandawa and Balangan gave me unforgettable memories.
